Immortality has gotten the best of me
and I cannot see the light with a vast of fright, I'm walking blindly,
and I could tell these shadows don't take kindly.

Desolating in my waste; usurping my demise I've chased.
They say, "A man who has nightmares every night is a man in pain,"
and as I continue to wake up every night haunted, this has gained me nothing;
suffering within like a wounded sin
that just scratches in terror to complete the bearer,
now I shall decay in its bad tidings, my soul forever trapped in the writings.

You better pray that you aren't afraid of darkness
'cause it lurks around me like a vulture to a carcass.

I feel myself dropping to the core of the earth,
my heart beat is racing and I knew I was doomed since birth.

My fate shining brightly in my eyes, condemned to this world of lies.
For when the end is near, we'll be in fear
to only witness our nightmares begin.
And I shall continue down this path; feeling my demon's wrath;
bathing in its blood; drenched in the crud.

Drag my lifeless body away and leave it by the shore.
